
FILMMAKERS PORTFOLIO
Sachin Narain is a visual artist turned filmmaker. He graduated from the University of Johannesburg in 2018, with a B-Tech degree in Fine Art. In 2019 he started and completed his Honours Degree in Film and Television at the University of the Witwatersrand, focusing on cinematography, directing, writing and editing.
The young scriptwriter/cinematographer’s short film, “Parallel” was nominated for the category of “Best Cinematography” at the 2019 Wits Film and Television awards.
He recently completed work on the prequel for the movie, “Love and Faya” with director Eugene Paramoer and cinematographer Christopher Wessels, filmed in Bontleheuwel, Cape Town.
Sachin plans to pursue a Masters in Film and Television in the near future, majoring in cinematography/directing.
